Hi! I’m Micha

Hi, my name is Micha van den Bergh, 40 years old and together with my girlfriend Hadewij we are real estate agents in Amsterdam. Hadewij is the photographer and I am the broker.
My goal is to be your broker with the best conditions, opening times and fixed fair rates.

From childhood on, I longed for the big city. The hustle and bustle, the grandeur, the diversity and the beautiful buildings attracted me enormously. How often I had the idea to skip school during high school to go to Amsterdam on my own for a day trip, but in the end never did.
I have been living in this great city for almost 20 years now. I still appreciate myself living here every day. I still enjoy every time I sit on my bike and like to look at life in the city and at the beautiful buildings, streets and parks.
I started my career in the Amsterdam hospitality industry. I worked for a large part of my hospitality career in one of the most beautiful cafés in Amsterdam, namely cafe Luxembourg on ’t Spui. Here I learned the tricks of the trade and I experienced how nice it is to interact with people on a daily basis.
The brokerage profession has always attracted me and after a good career in the hospitality industry I have decided to become a broker. I jumped straight into the deep and joined a partnership. This was the perfect “school” to learn the trade and entrepreneurship.
After being affiliated with the partnership for quite a few years, I felt that you as a “consumer” never knew exactly what a broker would do for you during the sale of your home. The commission was also always secretive.
My idea was to be completely transparent and to work with fixed amounts for the sale, purchase or rental of your property. That way you know exactly where you stand. Every assignment is a new challenge for me, which I want to perform as well as possible. You will never have the idea that it will be a production line for me. My passion is to make you happy. How do I do that? By listening carefully to you, adapting to that and doing my very best for you.
Every day I think about whether my services can be improved. So if you have any suggestions? I love to hear it.
