The home:
You enter the home through the charming front yard, which features an additional seating area. In the entryway, you’ll find the storage room on the right—which is also accessible from outside—making it ideal for storing your bike. Passing by the restroom, you’ll walk into the living room with an open kitchen.

The open kitchen is located at the front of the apartment in a corner layout, with charming subway tiles on the wall. There’s plenty of cabinet space and all the appliances you need: a refrigerator with a freezer, a 90-cm 5-burner stove with an oven, a dishwasher, a range hood, and a separate microwave.

The living room is nice and spacious. A fireplace would be a great addition here, and the window shades are already installed for sunny days. Through the French doors, you can step right into the green, cozy garden. It faces east, but thanks to the garden’s depth, you can enjoy the sun here all day long. With a gently sloping terrain, the garden borders the water directly—a lovely spot to wind down at the end of the day.

On the upper floor, you’ll find three bedrooms. All three are a good size, spacious enough for a double bed and a wall of closets. The bathroom features a second toilet, a bathtub with a shower, and a vanity.

The neighborhood:
Welgelegen is a green, quiet neighborhood where many families live and where children can play safely outdoors. For daily groceries and a place to relax on a patio, the De Symfonie shopping center is just a short walk away, and the center of Nieuw-Vennep is within biking or walking distance. Schools, playgrounds, sports facilities, and a swimming pool with both indoor and outdoor lanes are all nearby.

If you’re looking to get out and about, there’s literally plenty of space right at your fingertips. Just around the corner is Park21, which includes the Kleine Vennep estate, where all sorts of activities are organized for young and old. The park continues with walking and biking trails through the greenery and Klimpark21, a climbing park for adventurers. A little further on are the Toolenburgerplas and the

Haarlemmermeerse Bos, where you can enjoy stand-up paddleboarding, swimming, or picnicking on the weekend.

You’re also well-connected in terms of transportation. Everything is within walking distance: the bus, the Zuidtangent (express route to Haarlem, Schiphol, and Amsterdam), and the train station. From Nieuw Vennep, you can also travel easily to Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam, and Schiphol. Major highways are just a short distance away. You can park for free right outside the door.
