These sustainable upgrades provide a pleasant indoor climate – warm in winter, cool in summer – and lower energy costs.
In addition, the CoE is working on an advanced plan to make the building natural gas-free. This involves looking at sustainable alternatives such as a collective heat pump, heat networks and electric cooking. The aim is to live completely energy efficient and without natural gas in the future.
The financing of this sustainable step is largely covered by the VvE reserves and possible subsidies. The owner only has to make a limited own contribution for this (expected around 2026). Upon realization of this plan, the current central heating boiler will be removed.
Heat is then supplied through a collective heat pump system. Residents receive heat according to consumption, measured via individual meters connected to the central system.
Location
Holendrecht is a green and quiet residential neighborhood with plenty of space, few high-rise buildings and good amenities such as a shopping center and public transportation. The neighborhood is loved by residents who often enjoy living here for long periods of time. Metro and NS station Holendrecht are within walking distance, and various bus connections are also nearby. By car, you can quickly reach the A2, A9 or A10 motorways. Nature lovers can visit the nearby Gaasperplas, a nice place for walking, picnicking or water sports.
