This is a great base for everything in and around Amsterdam. It is adjacent to the center of new-west (Osdorp) which is a 5 minute bike ride or 10 minute walk. So you are there in no time, but you are just outside the very busy area. Also you are in the center in half an hour or even faster even in the Vondelpark. Well located in terms of public transport, bicycle routes, (fast) roads. You can get anywhere in no time! You are also very quickly at a train station and Schiphol is around the corner (by bus or 15 min by car). Also, in the summer you can take the ferry to the Amsterdam forest, really lovely!

There is a wide variety of stores. Of course the big supers, but also the Moroccan bakery or the Turkish greengrocer are and other types of stores which makes it nice multi culti and diverse.

There is also plenty of greenery and tranquility nearby. You can walk around the back along Badhoevedorp and the dike. Or a round Vrije Geer, the Sloterplas, Nieuwe meer… Everything is nearby. Also nice playgrounds, like the trampolines in front of the door but also playground of Oud Sloten with lots of play equipment.
